you may be right however I do see more ethical SEO being used as well and search engine results being improved because of it, as for content I think that’s another discussion all together. For example if your looking to buy something how much content do you need or want to read?

Hi John,

You raise some interesting points in this post. On the one hand, I completely agree with you in that there’s nothing wrong with ensuring that relevant web sites appear in SERPs. But increasingly I’m seeing more and more unethical SEO techniques being used to push sites with very little content to the top of Google for particular phrases.

Hopefully with the recent changes to Google’s algorithm we’ll start to see less of these content farms/spam sites.
